The Weihua QD type hook bridge crane is a general-purpose heavy-duty lifting equipment launched by Weihua Group for the industrial material handling field. It is one of the most widely used and technologically mature bridge crane series products both domestically and internationally. This product uses a hook as the main lifting device and adopts a double-girder box-type bridge structure. It has outstanding advantages such as compact size, low headroom, light weight, and low wheel pressure. It is widely used in material transfer, assembly, maintenance, and loading/unloading operations in machine shops, metallurgical auxiliary workshops, warehouses, power plant buildings, and other locations.
As a classic representative of general-purpose bridge cranes, the QD type hook bridge crane mainly consists of four parts: the bridge frame (including main beams, end beams, walkways, and railings), the trolley traveling mechanism, the trolley traveling mechanism (including the hoisting mechanism), and the electrical control system. The entire machine adopts a box-section welded structure, with the main beams and end beams connected by high-strength bolts or welding to form a stable load-bearing frame. The trolley, mounted on the bridge rails, can move laterally along the main beam; the trolley traveling mechanism moves the entire machine longitudinally along the length of the workshop; and the hoisting mechanism enables the vertical lifting and lowering of the hook. These three mechanisms work together to achieve precise positioning of materials in three-dimensional space.
In terms of technical parameters, the Weihua QD type hook bridge crane covers an ultra-wide range of lifting capacities from 5 tons to 800 tons, spans from 10.5 meters to 31.5 meters (customizable), lifting heights from 6 meters to 24 meters, and working classes from A3 to A7. The product is suitable for environments with temperatures ranging from -25℃ to 40℃ and relative humidity not exceeding 85% in factories, freight yards, warehouses, etc., but is prohibited from use in environments with flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases.

In 2025, Weihua's QD130/32/5-29.15 A3 bridge crane, provided for the Shaanxi Investment Xinfeng Energy 2×1000 MW unit project, successfully completed its lifting operation. The crane weighs 99.757 tons, with rated lifting capacities of 130 tons for the main hook and 32 tons for the auxiliary hook, fully demonstrating Weihua's technical strength in the field of large-tonnage bridge cranes. Furthermore, Weihua's QD series products have been successfully applied to the construction of multiple pumped storage power station projects in Yi County, Hebei Province, Qujiang County, Jinyun County, and Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province, providing reliable lifting guarantees for the installation of core equipment such as generator rotors.
